Growing up Alex Edmonds knew music was a love and passion that somehow, someway she wanted to pursue. Little did she know that God had plans of His own, Big plans for the Crossett, Arkansas Native. In seemingly the Blink of an eye the 19 year old Vocalist has been cast onto the national Christian music scene. A scene that Edmonds says is an "absolute awesome responsibilty and a humbling experience."

Excited, Scared, and anticipation are three words that quickly come to mind when asked about where God will lead. "It's abit overwhelming, I am so new to this, it's almost surreal, but I trust God and I know He will take me where He desires." "First and foremost my goal is to use the talents God has blessed me with for the enrichment of His Kingdom, that's my utmost priority!" " I also want to serve as a role model for Teenagers, thats something that I have always wanted to be and something ,in this day and time, that is of vast importance." Alex accepted Christ at age 9 while in Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church Crossett. During the next several years Alex felt God using her more and more in music.With the support of her Grandmother and family, Alex continued to mature musically during her early teenage years."Of course when I was little I sang in the Church Children's Choirs and participated in Youth events etc."Really it was just a few years ago when I performed in the Church Youth Band that I realized God wanted me to use my voice for His service."

I remember nights after the band would sing, people coming up and saying they felt God speaking through my voice, I was in Awe and I just remember thinking "is this really what you want me to do Lord?" While performing is certainly something that Alex is accustomed to, it's the more intimate side of ministry that excites her most." Just being able to share my testimony with others is something that I am so excited about." I want to connect with listeners on a personal scale so at the end of the day they realize I'm just like them, a real person who needs Jesus in a very real way each and every day of my life." " Edmonds debut CD "The Blue EP" released nationwide in January of 2010 on Nashville's Mission House Music. The initial single releases from her EP, "Answer to Prayer" and "You Said" have been met with an overwhelming response by Christian Radio, a response that admittedly excites Edmonds as she conitnues her journey into full time Ministry ." Just to know that God is already using the music to reach people is an unbelievable feeling." 2010 has been filled with plenty of learning experiences as well as plenty of travel. This year Alex has been on tour spanning over 25 Thousand Miles in support of the album release.

Additional songs for the second installment of EP's are already completed including Alex's debut Christmas single "Infant Holy Infant Lowly" as well as the Power Ballad "When I look at You". 2011 is shaping up to be another busy ride for Edmonds.
